Installing a moderately resistant metal fence with mounting feet

The “Universal Connect plate” is ideal for installing posts when the lateral forces to which the fence is subjected are moderate. It enables lateral adjustment of the post on the foundation screw and adjustment of the vertical position.
Therefore, the preferred solution is one that consists of long foundation screws (FS 1000-F or FS 1250 F).

This system requires a bolt-on base to be provided by the customer.

Fastening the customer’s connector. Moderate lateral force

This solution is carried out in 5 steps:

1. Making holes in the ground

2. Installing foundation screws

3. Positioning the vertical adjustment system

4. Connecting the plate & the metal base

5. Fastening the post

Step 1: Making holes in the ground

It is essential to first make a hole in the ground as this ensures that the screw will penetrate well into the soil.
Lubrication helps to position the foundation screw.

Step 2: Installing foundation screws

Our portable electric machines, in combination with a laser transmitter and receiver, are used to install the screws in a level position and do not require any specific actions.

Step 3: Positioning of vertical adjustment system

Installing the vertical adjustment system.
“Universal Fix 3D Connect” and fastening the aluminium plate with the aid of the central M16 screw.

Step 4: Connecting the plate & the metal base

The foot of the post is placed on the Universal plate and bolted.

Step 5: Fastening the posts

The post and foot assembly are bolted to the Universal plate.

Result

Repeat the different steps for each post.
