The “Connect 30-250” is ideal for installing wooden posts when the lateral forces to which the enclosure is subjected are moderate. It enables lateral adjustment on foundation screws and adjustment of the vertical position.

Therefore, the preferred solution is one consisting of long foundation screws (FS 1000-F or FS 1250 F) and a tubular connector to which the post is attached.
This solution is ideally used with pre-drilled 30 mm posts.

  • Advantage 1: The Connect 30-250 allows lateral adjustment and adjustment of the vertical position.

  • Advantage 2: the Connect 30-250 ensures excellent resistance to lateral forces and protects the post from the ground.

This solution is carried out in 4 steps:

1. Making holes in the ground.

2. Installing foundation screws

3. Mounting the connector on the foundation screws

4. Positioning of post

Step 1: Making holes in the ground

It is essential to first make a hole in the ground as this ensures that the screw will penetrate well into the soil.
Lubrication helps to position the foundation screw.

Step 2: Installing foundation screws and connectors

The foundation screws FS 750-F are positioned with the aid of our portable electric machines which, in combination with a laser transmitter and receiver, are used to install all the screws in a level position without requiring any specific actions.
Precise alignment and levelling are fine-tuned with the aid of connectors.

Step 3: Mounting the connector on the foundation screws.

The connector is attached to the foundation screws by inserting the three EPDM gaskets between the two surfaces. The connector is aligned with the others, and the vertical position is adjusted by simple compression of the EPDM gaskets.

Step 4: Fastening of posts

The post is mounted on, and screwed to, the connector.
For a better hold, you can also glue it.
