In very windy environments, the solution must be reinforced to make sure that the fencing is sufficiently stable.
Therefore, the preferred solution is one that is made up of two 75 cm screws, the first one supporting the post, and the second one ensuring bracing via a wooden strut.
The disadvantage of this construction is the loss of space caused by the strut.

It is possible to avoid this disadvantage by installing Solution 24.

  • Advantage 1: This solution withstands very strong winds.

  • Advantage 2: All the connectors can be half-buried so that virtually only the wood is visible.

Wooden fence post High lateral force

This solution is carried out in 5 steps:

1. Making holes in the ground

2. Installing foundation screws

3. Positioning of connectors

4. Positioning of post

5. Positioning the strut

Step 1: Making holes in the ground

It is essential to first make a hole in the ground as this ensures that the screw will penetrate well into the soil.
Lubrication helps to position the foundation screw.

Step 2: Installing foundation screws

The foundation screws FS 750-F are positioned with the aid of our portable electric machines which, in combination with a laser transmitter and receiver, are used to install all the screws in a level position without requiring any specific actions.

The screws are installed in pairs at right angles to the fence axis, at a distance corresponding to approximately half of the fence height.

Step 3: Positioning of connectors

The connector below the post is used to align and adjust the vertical position, while the connector of the second foundation screw manages the lateral forces.

Step 4: Positioning of post

The post is placed on the connector.

Step 5: Positioning the strut

The strut is placed on the second connector.

Final result

Repeat the step for each fence post.
